READING PUBLIC SCHOOLS <br />Reading, Massachusetts <br />SCHOOL COMMITTEE MEETING <br />REGULAR SESSION MINUTES JANUARY 6 1992 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chair Barbara Philbrick called the regular meeting of the Reading <br />School Committee to order at 7:05 p.m. in the Superintendent's <br />Conference Room. All members were present with the exception of <br />Mary Williams who was expected to arrive later. Also present <br />were Superintendent Robert J. Munnelly, Assistant Superintendent <br />Lynn M. Bak and a reporter from the Chronicle. <br />MINUTES <br />Stanley Nissen moved to approve the minutes of the Open Hearing <br />on November 25, 1991. Timothy Twomey seconded the motion The <br />y <br />vote was unanimous with Stanle Nissen abstaining. <br />Stanley Nissen moved to approve the minutes of December 9 and <br />December 16, 1991. Timothy Twomey seconded the motion The vote <br />was unanimous with Timothy Twomey abstaining. <br />BILLS AND PAYROLLS <br />The warrant for Bills was as follows: <br />December 23, 1991 Bills $44,392.25 <br />December 30, 1991 Bills $37,962.38 <br />January 6, 1992 Bills $ 2,213.77 <br />The warrant for Payrolls was as follows: <br />December 13, 1991 Teachers $494,074.42 <br />December 20, 1991 Teachers $412,881.24 <br />December 20, 1991 Biweekly $+105,886.22 <br />January 3, 1992 Biweekly $ 91,139.72 <br />GIFTS <br />Dr. Munnelly thanked Reading State Representative Rob Krekorian <br />for the donation of flags and flag holders to replace all our <br />elementary school classroom flags. <br />The Superintendent also thanked the following people for their <br />thoughtful gifts to the Eaton School: Mr. Rodrigues for providing <br />two sets of video tapes that appeared on Public Broadcasting <br />channels; Mr. & Mrs. James Leahy for the donation of a movie <br />screen and manual typewriter; an anonymous citizen who <br />provided funds for the transportation costs of a field trip for <br />
