READING PUBLIC SCHOOLS <br />Reading, Massachusetts <br />SCHOOL COMMITTEE MEETING <br />REGULAR SESSION MINUTES SEPTEMBER 26, 1994 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chair Timothy Twomey called the regular School Committee <br />meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. in the Superintendent's Confer- <br />ence Room. All members were present with the exception of <br />Thomas Stohlman and Roberta D'Antona. Also present were <br />Superintendent Robert J. Munnelly, Assistant Superintendent <br />Dennis Richards, RMHS student representative Heather McDonald, <br />and a reporter from the Chronicle. <br />MINUTES <br />Matthew Cummings moved to approve the regular session minutes <br />Of August 29, 1994. Susan Cavicchi seconded the motion. The <br />vote was unanimous. <br />BILLS AND PAYROLLS <br />The warrant for bills were as follows: <br />September 19, 1994 - Bills - <br />The warrant for payrolls were as follows: <br />September 16, 1994 - Teachers - <br />CITIZENS' INPUT <br />There was no citizens' input. <br />GIFTS <br />$434,250.75 <br />$467,535.56 <br />Dr. Munnelly acknowledged several appreciated gifts to Parker. <br />.Mr. & Mrs. Adams provided funding to install a weather <br />station. <br />.Mr. Doucette, working through an employee gift program from <br />Hewlitt Packard, provided over $4000 of computer equipment. <br />.Mrs. Pat Keane donated an Apple computer. <br />The Superintendent also noted appreciation for gifts that were <br />given to Coolidge. <br />.A $120 gift from The Friends of the Reading Public Library for use <br />in the Media Center. <br />.A Hewlitt Packard Desktop color printer and an upgrade of two <br />media center systems valued at $2540 from the Class of 1994. <br />
