READING PUBLIC SCHOOLS <br />Reading, Massachusetts <br />REGULAR SESSION MINUTES JULY 2, 1996 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chair Cavicchi called the regular session to order in the conference room. All members were <br />present. Superintendent Harry K. Harutunian was also present. Associate Superintendent Dennis <br />Richards was expected to arrive later. <br />Mr. Spadafora moved to adjourn from regular session to executive session at 7:30 p.m. Mr. <br />Stohlman seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous. <br />Chair Susan Cavicchi reconvened the regular session of School Committee to order at 8:37 p.m. <br />in the Superintendent's Conference Room. <br />ROUTINE MATTERS <br />MINUTES <br />There were no minutes for approval this evening. <br />BILLS AND PAYROLLS <br />The warrant for bills was as follows: <br />June 30, 1996 - Bills - $1,182,725.53 <br />LIAISON REPORTS <br />There were no liaison reports this evening. <br />CITIZEN'S INPUT <br />There were no citizens' input this evening. <br />REPORT OF THE SCHOOL COMMITTEE CHAIR AND SUPERINTENDENT <br />*Dr. Harutunian announced that the Administrative Council recently had a two day retreat at <br />Endicott College. They discussed principals', teachers', and administrators' evaluations and <br />curriculum. Also present at this retreat were the new principals; RMHS Principal Frank Orlando, <br />Eaton Principal Bill McSheedy and Pupil Personnel Services Director Valerie Ardi. <br />
