Dustin - Board of Selectmen=_ <br />Accepted Minutes #74 <br />Discussion - Article 25 November Town Meeting warrant: P. <br />Dustin presented the.main motion, which was the same as the <br />warrant article except for elimination of changes by by -law <br />amendment. and special acts of the legislature. Members felt <br />that the charter process would not progress if there was no <br />broadly based organization directing the process. A substitute <br />motion was drafted that created an ad boc committee appointed <br />by the Selectmen from the Selectmen, School Committee, Board <br />of Public Works, Town Treasurer and citizens at large to <br />gather signatures and form a candidate slate, etc. The motion <br />also provided for funding of the elected Charter Commission. <br />Recommendation on Article 25: Voted to recommendation the <br />substitute motion by a vote of 3:0. <br />••Discussion - Article 26 November-Town Meeting warrant: No <br />further word from Conservation Committee as to need for this <br />action. <br />Recommendation on Article 2#-. Voted to not recommend by a <br />vote of 3:0. <br />Adjourned 9:15 P.M. <br />IL <br />-L Cr, <br />
