I 1 <br />r Bylaw Committee Minutes #126 <br />April 6, 1988 <br />Member present: Ed Murphy, George Theophanis, Dolores Carroll and Phil Pacino. <br />7:27 Meeting called to-order by Chairman Murphy in the Employees Lounge of the Town <br />Hall. <br />The committee took up Article 4 of the Special Town Meeting. Present to present <br />the article to the Bylaw Comm wez Town Manager Peter Hechenbliekner and Selectman <br />Russ Graham. The article dealt'fhe hours of operation of certain establishments. <br />After discussion the committee on a motion of George Theophanis and seconded by Phil <br />Pacino voted to recommend Article 4 of the Special Town Meeting by a vote of 4 -0 <br />The committee then discussed Article 32 of the Annual Town Meeting. The CPDC had <br />a hearing on the article and has recommended some changes to the proposed article. <br />The following language is what the CPDC is recommending: <br />"Auto graveyard: The sPr a other than in a permanp(ent building of 2 or more <br />unregistered and unis ed motor vehicle other than in connection with <br />licensed automobile salesroom or office." <br />The committee was informed that the above language had not been reviewed with the <br />petitioner of the Article to see if he concurred. <br />7 'r . <br />The Bylaw felt that it should take action on the original article and not on the above <br />proposed language. Therefore on a motion of George Theophanis and seconded by <br />Dolores Carroll the committee voted to not recommend Article 32 by a vote of 4 -0. <br />8:45 Committee adjourned to meet on Wednesday April 20, 1988 at 7:30 <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Philip B.
