RECEIVED <br />TOWN CLERK <br />Reading Cultural Council Minuteg "D1N' "ass. <br />January 7, 2013, Reading Public Library, Large Conference Room 21113 - 46 <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:32 P.M. Present were Peggy Caouette, Lynne Cassinari, Eileen <br />Collins, Catherine Folan, Lorraine Hom, Colleen O'Shaughnessy, Nancy Snow, Jacalyn Shelton Wallace. <br />Treasurer's Report was presented and approved. <br />Peggy Caouette reported that all necessary paper work for last year has been completed. She also <br />distributed a sheet showing the grants for the 2012 -2013 projects and their anticipated completion dates. <br />The minutes of the December 3, 2012 meeting were amended and approved to reflect $220 not $200 for <br />grant # 13 -16 Colonial Chorus Players. Those minutes will also include the nine non - approved grants and <br />the reason for their being denied. <br />Old Business <br />Lynrre Cassinari reported that she sent out the Disapproval Letters on December 20, 2012 and the <br />Approval Letters on January 7, 2013. <br />The Massachusetts Cultural Council statewide meeting will be held February 19, 2013. Attendance there <br />will be in lieu of a RCC meeting that month. <br />The Annual Report is being completed by Jacalyn Shelton Wallace. <br />Nancy Snow volunteered to research possible promotional supplies that RCC can afford to distribute. <br />The March 4 meeting will be in the Large Conference Room and the April in the Small Conference <br />Room. <br />Action Items <br />Members should volunteer to attend RCC supported performances to show support. <br />Lynne Cassinari will ask the MCC if there is an evaluation form RCC could use. She will also contact <br />department heads at the high school to encourage student participation in The Marble Collection. <br />Sbould RCC host a reception for grantees this year? <br />RCC will need a new Chairperson and Treasurer this year so think about assuming one of those posts. <br />Eileen Collins will submit notices of approved grants to the two local papers and the Patch and start a <br />scrapbook for RCC. <br />The meeting adjourned at 8:20 P.M. <br />Respectfully submitted by Colleen O'Shaughncssy (/a r <br />
