BYLAW COMMITTEE MINUTES #301 <br />Wednesday, July 6, 2011 <br />7:05 p.m. Meeting called to order in the Selectmen's Meeting Room. <br />Members present: Phil Pacino, Jack Russell, Louise C. Callahan and Dolores Carroll. <br />Also Present: Town Manager Peter Heckenbleickner, Town Clerk Laura Gemme and Town <br />Counsel Ellen Callahan Doucette. <br />The meeting began with a reading of the Notice of Public Hearing and although it was intended <br />to be a public hearing on the re- codification of the Reading General Bylaw, the public was not <br />present. <br />Revisions were made in various sections focusing on the language pertaining to non - criminal <br />enforcement and the table dealing with fines for those violations. <br />Peter reminded us that the Warrant closes on September 27th and modifications may be made <br />up to that time, if necessary. <br />On motion of Jack Russell, seconded by Dolores Carroll, the Bylaw Committee voted to recommend <br />the recodification of the amended Reading General Bylaw by a vote of 4 -0 -0. <br />Minutes #300 were read and on motion of Dolores Carroll, seconded by Louise C. Callahan, the <br />minutes were accepted by a vote of 3 -0 -1. <br />8:10 p.m. Meeting adjourned <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Dolores S. Carroll <br />Clerk <br />
